Help with port forwarding for minecraft server

Hello i got an azure vitrual machine i want to run a minecraft server on it but i know how to run it but i dont know how to forward a port for the mc server if someone can explain me this i will really help

I am afraid I did not quite understand your question.

Can you please elaborate what do you mean by "mc server" ?

Is there any documentation you are following to achieve this?
