I have some virtual machines but amongst them are 3 machines created using a Citrix image and i noticed these machines come with the VM agent in a NOT READY state. I'm trying to see how to change the VM agent status to a READY State.

    Hello Ekuba Tsague

Welcome to Microsoft Q&A Platform, thanks for posting your query here.

To troubleshoot the issue, request you to check below steps to see if that resolves the issue:

-On the affected virtual machines, verify that the VM agent is installed. If not try to install appropriate version. Ensure that the VM agent version is compatible with your Citrix environment. If needed, update or reinstall the VM agent to a version that is officially supported by Citrix.

-If the VM Agent is installed, check if it is running. If it is not running, start the service.

-There could be startup issue, the VM agent might have encountered problems during startup or while running, causing it to fail to reach the "Ready" state.

    Hope these help.
