Post-Migration Steps for Google Workspace to Microsoft 365

We're preparing to migrate our emails from Google Workspace to Microsoft 365 in a few weeks' time and went through the helpful articles below:

It's all clear except for post-migration - upon completion of all mailbox migration, we intend to swing fully over to M365. Is the final step to update MX record to the sub-domain we've created (as part of prerequisites)?

Using below diagram as example:

i.e. Updating MX records to point to o365.fabrikaminc.net and we are ready to terminate Google Workspace?

    Hi @KINGSMEN GLOBAL, it looks you only use the subdomains/A-records during the migration- and forwardprocess. When you decided to deliver your incoming mail directly to Microsoft, you have to set your MX-record to the information you see under 'Settings' --> 'Domains' on admin.microsoft.com.
