Sharing free/busy information across two M365-Tenants

Goal: Enable all users of a specific other M365-Organisation, to see the free/busy-information for all of the users within my organisation.

Method: enable organisational sharing (EAC > Organisation > Sharing > Organisation Sharing > add organization relathioship) (plus 24h of precautionary patience)

Problem: when the exchange-users of the other organisation try to add one calendar to their outlook, they receive the error, that this calendar cannot be found.

Du you have any Idea on this problem?

Org relationships do not enable users to add calendars to their Outlook, simply to query the free/busy info within Scheduling assistant and such. If you do need the "add calendar" functionality, use sharing policies/invites instead.

    Hi @Siegers, Dominik ,

If you are the admin, you can also enable external calendar sharing for all users in your organization. Once sharing is enabled, users can use Outlook Web App to share their calendars with anyone inside or outside the organization.

You can refer to: Enable calendar sharing using the Microsoft 365 admin center
