How to download Stream (SharePoint) as an MP4 file and not webm

I can only download stream videos as .webm which is not compatible with any video editing applications. I want to download my stream videos as an mp4 so I can edit it and reupload to Stream (sharepoint). Just want to be able to dowload stream as an mp4 video not webm.

The video stored in the Stream only can be downloaded as original format.

To make WEBM format video compatible with video editing application, firstly, use free online converter to help you convert WEBM video to MP4 format. For example: WEBM to MP4 Converter - FreeConvert.com.

Employing a third-party file converter would have to go through our corporate IT security review process. A free converter will not meet corporate security standards.

Up until just recently, I could download a MS Teams meeting recording as an .mp4. Now, the only download option I have in MS Teams meeting recordings is as a .webm file.

How can we restore this option in Microsoft Teams?
