We currently have System Center Orchestrator 2022 set up with a single management server and two runbook servers. We want to establish high availability (HA) for the runbook servers and ensure that if Server 1 encounters a communication failure with the database, Server 2 seamlessly takes over the execution of the runbook.

Can you provide guidance on setting up high availability for Orchestrator runbook servers?

Your assistance is greatly appreciated.

    Hi @Githad19 ,

Orchestrator Runbook Server a running in failover mode by design. If one Runbook Server stops or has problems connecting to Orchestrator Database, the second Runbook Server will start the Runbooks which were active on the failing one at first Activity.

The Runbook will start at first Activity by design.

    Regards,

    Stefan
