Minimam plan on Azure web app service

Question

Hi,

We have a very basic ASP net core website. Which does minimum operations. In the azure production plans starting from 70+ USD. Is there any minimum plan less than that I can avail?
Please advise.

Based on your requirement, I would suggest you start with lower pricing tier (Basic) at first and scale up (Standard) later when you need more App Service features. Your App Service Plan (ASP) can be scaled up and down at any time. It is as simple as changing the pricing tier of the plan.

Which means, when you feel you no longer need the capabilities or features of a higher tier, you can scale down to a lower tier, which saves you money.

Specifically about the Standard service plan- yes, it is designed for running production workloads. It’s charged $0.10/hour. To highlight more details on the Dedicated compute (ASP tiers): The Basic, Standard, Premium, PremiumV2, and PremiumV3 tiers run apps on dedicated Azure VMs.
Only apps in the same ASP share the same compute resources, so these VM instances are charged the same regardless how many apps are running on them.
