Hi everyone,

Trying to deploy the 23h2 cluster from Azure I encounter this error

Arc server nodes must contain only one default gateway on physical network adapters.

I checked every physical server card but they all have the same gateway

The nics are made up like this

6 or 10 GB

6 static IP addresses

I also tried using DHCP to assign IP addresses but no changes.

    Hi,

The error you are seeing means setup has detected that more than one physical adapter has a default gateway configured. Default gateways are a global configuration even though they are configured on individual adapters, so you should never have more than one default gateway configured across all adapters.

To resolve this issue, ensure that only one adapter (typically the management adapter) has a default gateway assigned.

    Hope this helps!

I'm afraid it's a bug in the 23h2 release. Let's hope a fix comes out soon.

I also received a similar error message while deploying 23H2 Cluster via Azure Portal.

Later I removed multiple Gatways and tried validation again.

    It resolved my issue.
