I need to restart the Windows Remote Management Service on Server 2012 R2 Domain Controller during office hours, what are the potential risks of doing this and what it can impact?

Thank You

I don't see any issue with restarting the service.

Shouldn't be an issue but I'm not sure what you might be expecting. Maybe you can just reboot it? Alternate domain controllers should handle things during a reboot.

This is part of a requirement that potentially needs a reboot of all the domain controllers and since we have several i'm trying to avoid this scenario, i think restarting the service will address the requirement but don't know the impact of restarting the WinRM service.

Restarting the service on the domain controllers didn't have any impact.
