SharePoint News for Email Feature Formatting Issues

Hello Microsoft! I am trying to fix an issue with the SharePoint News for Email feature. I have built the page fine and sent out some email tests before distributing more widely. To me, it works perfectly (see example): User's image

But for some other people I've tested with - the formatting goes completely wrong and isn't feasible to use. It stretches out wide, so it's cut off and the features are all blurry. They are viewing on both desktop app and browser and no luck. I've noted they are using an older version of Outlook (2016).User's image

Tests so far: I've tried sending it to my email and forwarding it on - no luck. I've tried sending from different browsers - no luck. It works sending as a link but I ideally wanted to send out the email preview. Is this an issue with the platform or anything to solve the problem? Please advise. Thanks.

    Hi @James West,

Thank you for posting in this community.

I have tested this on my end, and it seems that the same column in SharePoint is displayed in separate rows in the email. This could potentially cause a break in the content.

This format conversion is designed by SharePoint. SharePoint also does not provide settings to allow us to modify the formatting of news in emails.

    Maybe you could try:

1.Before we send the email, we can view the format of the news we sent. You can mobilize the format before sending to achieve your desired result.

2.When we click on the SharePoint icon in the top right corner of the email, we can open the page for this news directly in our browser. This way we can see the content of the news more clearly in the browser.

3.I noticed you mentioned that the news format is problematic for only certain users, perhaps you could have those users upgrade their Outlook to a newer version.
