How to get list of service accounts used in SCOM2019?

Hello Guys,

Today my manager asked me to change the password of all service accounts configured in SCOM 2019 prod in our environment. Two years ago, we switched from the service account to gMSA accounts where the password isn't required.

I suspect that the service account list he shared with me was used in our old SCOM 2016 environment and is obsolete.

So, I wanted to cross-check all the service accounts / gMSA accounts that have been configured in our organization. So, is there any tool or PS script available where I can get a list of accounts used?

Kindly suggest.

Thanks in advance,

@Nishant Potdar

    Hi @Nishant Potdar ,

    When you create a new SCOM environment you need to specify some service accounts to be used. Usually these accounts are:

    1. Management Server Action Account
    2. System Center Configuration service & SystemCenter Data Access service
      1. Check the services.msc and look for System Center Data Access Service. See the Log on tab. User's image
    3. Data Reader account
    4. Data Writer account

    For number 1, 3 and 4 see below:

    I don't think you need a script for getting this information but the script recommended by @anthony strother should display accounts used for 1,3 and 4 but not for 2.
