Hello, from hyper-v I have a windows 11 pro virutal machine, I'm using a external virtual network interface using the network hardware interface from the physic machine where hyper-v is running. I'm trying to access to a network unit from a file explorer from the windows 11 virtual machine like for example : "\hamacl0102 "without succes, the windows 11 is in the same network, it has visibility as I explain in the added files. I have ping with hamacl0102, and dns's, even in the same hyper-v, on another hand with a windows 10 machine using the same external virtual network interface I can access asking me credential to acces, the questión is that in windows 11 I don't have the popup windows asking me credentials to access to the share network unit, I must say the share network unit is in a nas. I can access from the same hyper-v with windows 10 but not windows 11, ¿why? I don't understand what is happening. I add files explaining the visibility from windows 11 to the shared network unit, thank you and the message received when I type from file explorer "\hamacl0102", I do it in the same way from windows 10 virutal machine. I hope you can help me, thanks in advanced.comandcomCaptura.PNG error_hamacl0102_Captura.PNG

Hello, Try to access the share location via IP address instead of computer name (such as \\192.xx.xx.xx\xx) and check the result. Besides, turn on the SMB 1.0 support feature from Control Panel: Programs > Programs and Features > Turn Windows features on or off > SMB 1.0/CIFS File Sharing Support. Check SMB 1.0/CIFS Client, and then press Enter. Turn on network discovery and file and printer sharing options via Control Panel:

    1. Select Network and Internet > Network and Sharing Center > Advanced sharing settings.
    2. Select Turn on network discovery.
    3. Select Turn on file and printer sharing under Private.
    4. Select Save changes.
