Monitor event log not triggering

I am trying to monitor an event log on one of my servers for a particular event using SCOM 2022. I created a Unit Monitor, chose the right MP, selected the target, and created the alert. I even overrode it for the target machine, but nothing shows up in SCOM when I generate the event using eventcreate. The Health Explorer shows the Monitor as not initialized. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

    Hi,

The process to create an event-based monitor is straight-forward. Suggest creating a new unit monitor following this step-by-step guide to see if we have missing something. If it still doesn't work, provide the detailed information with screenshots, thanks.

    Regards,

    Alex
