Hello The error code 0x80070643 is a common issue that users encounter during the update process. Here are some methods you can try to resolve this issue: Restart Windows Update Services: You can do this by opening the Services window, locating Windows Update in the list, right-clicking on it, and selecting Restart. Run Windows Update Troubleshooter: This tool can automatically diagnose and fix common problems with Windows Update. Repair .NET Framework: The .NET Framework Repair Tool can detect and repair frequently occurring issues that affect the Microsoft .NET Framework setup or updates. Increase the size of the WinRE partition: If the error is related to the size of the Recovery Environment’s partition, you might need to increase the size of the WinRE partition. Note that 250 megabytes of free space is required in the recovery partition. Clear the SoftwareDistribution folder: Stop the Windows Update service, navigate to C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Download, and delete its contents. Then, restart the Windows Update service. Run DISM and SFC tools: The Deployment Image Servicing and Management (DISM) tool can fix Windows corruption errors. The System File Checker (SFC) tool can repair missing or corrupted system files. Perform a Clean Boot: A clean boot starts Windows with a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This can help you eliminate software conflicts that occur when you install a program or an update.

Making the partition on the drive larger will be a new experience for me but, that is how I learned to keep all my machines running. Thanks and I will let you know how this goes.
