On a new Windows 11 installation, extra fields for "Domain\Network Username" and "Network Password" appear on the login screen. However, upgrading from Windows 10 to Windows 11 does not display these fields. How can I remove the extra fields to standardize all login screens?

Hello, Please ensure that your system is up to date with the latest updates. Meanwhile, you could try the following steps: Open the Local Group Policy Editor. To do this, press Win + R, type gpedit.msc into the Run box, and hit Enter. In the Local Group Policy Editor, navigate to the following path: Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > System > Logon Once you’re there, look for “Always use classic logon” or “Do not display last user name” policy on the right side. Double-click on it, choose “Enabled” and then click OK. Close the Local Group Policy Editor and restart your computer. Best Regards, Hania Lian

I have found the answer is that Microsoft turned the Credential Guard Policy on by default in Windows 11. The fix is to turn the Credential Guard Policy Off for me. Please use this link for more information from Microsoft. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/security/identity-protection/credential-guard/credential-guard-manage
