This past week, I noticed that while watching a video on YouTube in Chrome, my tab reloaded on its own. At first I thought that maybe I clicked something accidentally but then it starts happening frequently. So I figured, maybe the problem is with Chrome, so I uninstalled and reinstalled Chrome, but the problem still persist. Tabs were reloading all at once and without any trigger. So I decided to check edge, and edge was behaving the same way although not that frequent. Then I checked my file system. And to my dismay, downloads section, was reloading/refreshing too. I as of now has 1. Uninstalled reinstalled Chrome. 2. Uninstalled reinstalled display drivers. 3. Booted in safe mode with minimal setting and the problem still persist. 3. Updated windows 4.reset the pc but to no avail. Please suggest what to do.

    Hello

It seems like you’ve already tried a number of troubleshooting steps. Here are a few more suggestions that might help:

    For Chrome and Edge:

Disable Automatic Tab Discarding: In Chrome, enter chrome://flags/#automatic-tab-discarding in the address bar. This will take you directly to the Automatic Tab Discarding flag. Click the dropdown box next to the highlighted entry, and then choose the “Disable” option. You’ll need to restart your browser, but after that the feature should be disabled.

Reset the Browsers: Open the browser and click the 3 dots at the upper right side of your screen. Go to Settings. Look for Reset Settings. Click Restore settings to their default values. This will reset your startup page, new tab page, search engine, and pinned tabs. It will also disable all extensions and clear temporary data like cookies. Your favorites, history and saved passwords will not be cleared.

    For File System:

Run DISM / SFC: Open cmd.exe with Run as Administrator. Then run the following commands:

    DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /StartComponentCleanup

    DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-Image /Restorehealth

    SFC /SCANNOW

Restart your system when all the above is complete and test.

Check Desktop Background Slideshow: If you have a desktop background slideshow running, try turning it off (Settings > Personalization > Background).

Ok, guys. I think I figured it out. Today, I tested my keyboard and found out that sometime f5 is active without even pressing it. So maybe it's f5 that is causing all this. Anyways, I will have my keyboard changed soon and will update you after that. Edit: It was keyboard problem, i changed the keyboard and everythig is working good. Thanks for all the support Microsoft Support has shown me, to help solve the problem, that wasn't even a windows problem. Remember guys, to use keyrollover test once if nothing works out.
