Ever since getting new windows computers, my print settings repeatedly switch back to double sided. This happens almost every time I print something, and never once happened prior to getting new computers (also Microsoft). I've looked in settings in Word and Microsoft and have been unable to find anything. I work in a law office, so nothing can ever be double sided, and ends up wasting so much paper and ink when printed double sided. Please help!

Nevermind I figured it out for myself. If this happens to you: Windows Settings > Printers > Click on one your using > Printing Preferences > Finishing, then select the not double sided paper in double sided preferences.

Another thing you could do is reinstall the printer driver with a different name:

    i.e. "HP Printer - Single-Sided" and "HP Printer - Double-sided."

Set the settings in each printer driver and pick the one you want when printing. This will work for all your applications, not just Word.
