PRINTER REDIRECT NOT WORKING PROPERLY.

We use Windows Server 2016 in our small business configuration, and our retail locations connect to the server via RDP. Retail establishments print bills and link the server to SAP software. They'll use their home printer to print the copies. However, the final server update that was completed after the procedure is not occurring; the local printer is not displayed when we enter RDP and search devices and printers. I have updated the printer management to include all drivers. The server manager also showing error "HP LaserJet service stopped", when i manually restart, it will automaticaly stop. Hello,

If your service is stopped automatically, it may be affected by 3rd party software. Please check if you installed new software or make other changes.

Since you may do basic troubleshooting, you can go to event log and see if there is any error in your system / application log.

We didn't modify any settings or install any additional software. The problem is that while the RDP user can print to their local printer, they are unable to make it their default printer. The user can't find the printer while searching for it in printers and devices, but when they print, they can set the default, but it changes automatically after a short while. Third-party software will not function properly if the printer is not set to default. It used to be different; once we changed the printer to default, we couldn't modify it. Prior updates introduced these problems. I just removed the most recent update, however it did not resolve the problem. Could someone please assist me?
