The Azure Document Intelligence Studio custom extraction model page blocked me and stated that I don't have Azure subscription under current directory (Default Directory)

After the recent Document Intelligence Studio update (2024 Feb), when accessing the Custom Extraction model page, it prompts that I don't have the Azure subscription under the current directory (Default Directory). It blocks me and asks me to create a new subscription and then re-sign into Document Intelligence Studio. Why?

I am the sole user in my Azure account. My account is the Service Administrator. I have trained and used Custom extraction models before, but why I am suddenly blocked? I cannot access my custom models now.

I have also submitted an Azure support request, pending their reply.

@Leung Yu Hing Dick Apologies for the inconvenience caused. It looks like the issue is due to a recent change and we can now confirm a fix is now rolled out to the studio. Could you please clear your cache of your browser and try to login to the studio? You should see the same behavior as before the issue, please ensure you have the right resource and directory mapped in your settings to view the correct resource related information. Thanks!!

The error shows that you are no more part of the subs that you have been using to create models, hence once removed you would be automatically put into the default directory which on most of the time has limited privileges or services available to the users (if you are using org accct). Either way you have did the right thing by creating a support ticket for the azure folks to look into and let you know the reason. Meanwhile, you can try to talk to your internal IT admin/Cloud admin team to check if there are any reasons for this.
