Hello everybody,
So currently I've been working with my office laptop. It is already synced to my office OneDrive and because of so some files are filling my main C: disk drive. Currently, I only have so little storage on my C: drive and I am having trouble if sometimes I open several apps (Note: This laptop has built-in storage with 150 GB and can't be replaced (IdeaPad Flex 5)). A solution I come up is to partitioning some space with D: drive (324 GB space), but I've installed some software into D: and afraid when splitting some of it will unallocated/uninstalled. So my question is does disk partitioning will cut some of my previous installation? Thank you for anyone responding.

    Hello,

Thank you for posting in Q&A forum.

Disk partitioning will not directly affect the software you previously installed on the D: drive. The partitioning operation only re partitions the disk space and allocates a portion of it to a new partition, without affecting existing files or installed software. Therefore, you can safely partition the disk without worrying about previously installed software being deleted or affected.

Hope this answer can help you well.

    Best regards,
