To add MX (Mail Exchange) records to Office 365, you typically need to access the DNS management interface of your domain registrar or DNS hosting provider.

In general, this would involve the following steps :

    • Sign in to Your DNS Provider's Website: Go to the website of your domain registrar or DNS hosting provider and sign in to your account.
    • Locate DNS Management Section: Find the section or option in your account dashboard for managing DNS records. This might be called "DNS Management," "Domain Settings," or something similar.
    • Add MX Records:

Look for an option to add or edit MX records.

If you're using Office 365 for email hosting, you'll need to replace any existing MX records with the Office 365 MX records.

Add the following MX records provided by Office 365:

    Priority: 0, Destination: yourdomain-com.mail.protection.outlook.com

Priority: 10, Destination: yourdomain-com.mail.protection.outlook.com (this is a fallback record)

(Replace "yourdomain-com" with your actual domain name)

    • Save Changes: After adding the MX records, save your changes. The changes may take some time to propagate across the internet, usually up to 24-48 hours.
    • Verify MX Record Configuration: Once the changes have propagated, you can verify that the MX records are correctly configured by using tools like MX Toolbox or performing a DNS lookup.

The specific steps may vary slightly depending on your DNS provider's interface.
