the RPO (Recovery Point Objective) is defined by the Retention in the Backup Policy.
The RPO defines how long the backups are available for a restore. For instance of if the retention time is set to 7 days, 4 weeks and 3 months the oldest backup you are able to restore is 3 months old.
The Recovery Time Objective (RTO) defines how fast a restore can be done (restore process duration ). It's hard to calculate because the RTO depends on the amount of data (size of backup data) that will be restored.
