Powerpoint crashes on Slideshow

Hello,

I hadn't worked with Powerpoint on my desktop pc for quite some time, and when I tried today I noticed it was impossible to enter slideshow mode without the program crashing.

I tried with numerous presentations, tried creating a blank one, and it happens systematically. The problem happens in safe mode too.

Here are some fixes I tried so far, to no avail:

-Tried updating Powerpoint

-Tried disabling hardware acceleration (both lines in the options)

-Tried repairing the install

-Tried uninstalling/reinstalling Office

-Tried uninstalling/reinstalling my video drivers

Nothing yet has worked. The presentations work just fine on my laptop, running the same version of Office.

Here are my specs:

Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-10700 CPU @ 2.90GHz 2.90 GHz

RAM 16,0 Go

Windows 11 Family 64 Bits 22631.3447

Office LTSC Standard 2021, Powerpoint version 2108 build 14332.20685

Thanks in advance, I'm running out of ideas

    Hi @Tom Steckler

I suggest you go to Windows Event Viewer > Windows Logs > Applications, check whether there are any related records. If yes, please check the error module.

Do you have more than one monitor connected? If so, you may choose the appropriate resolution, please also use one for test.

Besides, do your presentations stored on local machine? It's recommended to change the save location.
