Allow opening links, but prohibit copying data to the browser.

Question

Hello, using application policy, you can allow data to be transferred within a work profile or for MAM devices only between secure applications.

However, you only need to allow opening links in a secure application such as Edge (if it web link) or Zoom if it zoom meeting. But at the same time, it is prohibited to copy data to this application.

For example, open a link in an email (Outlook) in Edge, but do not allow text to be copied from Outlook to Edge. Let's say we are talking about a personal device with a work profile.

For your issue, we can create an app protection policy to achieve your goal.

Here are some settings in app protection policy you can configure.

1.Set Send org data to other apps to Policy managed apps and this setting Allow transfer only to other policy-managed apps.

2.Set Restrict web content transfer with other apps to Microsoft Edge and this setting Allow web content to open only in the Microsoft Edge.

3.Set Restrict cut, copy and paste between other apps to Blocked and this setting don't allow cut, copy, and paste actions between this app and any other app.
