Is there an alternative to Cortana on Windows that I can use to launch my applications using a voice command like "Open Abc App"? I have come across an application named "Voice Access," but I can't find any documentation on how to use it to launch my applications. Can someone please guide me through the steps?

I have two types of applications:

  1. XAML hosted Win32 Application.
  2. WinUI3 Application (Includes Windows App SDK).

    Hello,

    Welcome to Microsoft Q&A!

As far as I'm concerned, there is no way to launch Windows Applications using Voice Assistants.

And according to the Doc: Activate a foreground app with voice commands through Cortana:

This feature is no longer supported as of the Windows 10 May 2020 Update (version 2004, codename "20H1").

Cortana also no longer supports the feature.

    Thank you.

    Jeanine

Yes, it is possible to do so.

Just simply say "open/start <app name>". For example, "open settings" will start Windows Settings:

For all the commands you can use, check the document at the "?" button.

Or say, "what can I say?" directly.

    Hope this helps :)
