MDT script error

Question

I'm getting the script error continuously after upgrading to the new Windows 11 ADK. After the deployment wizard appears, I can see the task sequence list, but then below error will appear:

Script Error - An error has occurred in the script on this page.

Do you want to continue running scripts on this page?

What's wrong with this Windows ADK?

Hi @taya taya

I had the same issue, there is some bug in the latest version of ADK.

I tested it out and version 2004 still works better then the september 2023 version and below.

1,As @w raspe mentioned, it seems to be a known issue after you updated your MDT boot image to ADK for Windows 11, version 22H2. To work around this issue, you need to add the following registry value in WinPE:

reg.exe add "HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main" /t REG_DWORD /v JscriptReplacement /d 0 /f

2,MDT doesn't support Windows 11 and Windows Server 2022 operating systems. It's recommended to use SCCM to deploy Windows 11 to client computers. Refer to:
