Access OneDrive offline files programmatically on Android.

I have an application on windows that views various file formats (music xml, pdf, etc) and supports text and drawing annotations for the files. These annotations are stored in a 'project' file. For typical usage, the files and the project files are saved locally in a onedrive-back folder that is marked for offline.

I'm investigating porting this app to android for use on tablets but I don't see any method for an application to access the offline files on android.

Is there a method for doing this or do I need to integrate with the OneDrive storage APIs to accomplish this?

Thanks.
