why do the category colors keep disappearing from outlook?

How did you add the category?

And does this issue occur recently? If so, have you done any specific operations before that?

I'm using Outlook app windows. It just started happening this week. I've been using it for 5 months. I added the category and color by right clicking on the appointment/event.

In order to further confirm if the issue is related to Outlook client, it's suggested that you could log in to web mail and check if the categories persists.

If there's no categories on web mail, i'm afraid that the categories cannot be recovered.

They actually showed back up without me doing anything different.
