Slow LDAP Query Response. AD LDAP Performance Tuning Analysis

Question

In our environment we are getting application authentication failure through ADFS-SAML. While ADFS is doing LDAP query from AD, AD is responding slow to ADFS with query output data, which causing either delay in authentication or failure(time-out).

Here ADFS is generating SAML token for application authentication after doing LDAP query to AD(Idp)

Is there any way that we can check the ADFS to AD LDAP queries responses time.

Also to check in detail level of ADFS and AD performance data with response details.
