Hi ,

I am running IoT edge on a RHEL Linux server. I wanted to check the logs form portal. In the portal, I can see the IoT Edge Runtime Response as 200-OK and all the modules are in running state. But when I click on any module and select troubleshoot option, it gives error that - There was an error initializing the view. This device is offline.

How can I fix this issue, all module give the same response.

    Hello @Satyam Chauhan,

welcome to this moderated Azure community forum.

This is a tough question to answer.

In cases like this one, you probably want to have a second way to communicate with the device via a VPN, Auto SSH (only outbound), or Azure Arc.

Another alternative could be using OSConfig.

If you only have the edge agent portal experience to connect, try to do a ping first.

Then try to restart the modules, one by one.

If this does not work, you probably need to visit the edge device in person.
