Rule to exempt a email - not working

Hi all,

I've configured a rule to redirect emails originating from a specific external user, "external@hotmail.com," to two specific users within our organization: "test@domain.co.uk" and "test2@domain.co.uk." However, if the email is addressed to "User@domain.co.uk," it should bypass this redirection rule. Unfortunately, this exemption isn't functioning as intended, and the email is still being redirected to "test@domain.co.uk" and "test2@domain.co.uk."

Here is the screenshot :

Is there a way to resolve this and get it working as intended?

Message trace states that the email "Drop"

    Hi,

Thanks for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum.

Based on your description, I conducted relevant tests.

    1. This is my new rule.

    1. This rule works as expected. The exemption is working.

I have a few questions to confirm:

    1. Based on your message tracking screenshot, can you give a complete screenshot due to lack of information?
    2. Have there been any NDRs? If yes, please provide the complete NDR.
    3. I compared the rules I created with yours, and on the surface there is no difference. Have you created other rules?
    4. You can use the Get-MessageTrace cmdlet to query the specific reason why the email was dropped. Please provide a screenshot.
