Surface pro 9 SQ3 version is equiped with a GPS chip.

I am struggling to connect the GPS of surface pro 9 SQ3 with a navigation software ( Open CPN).

I need to know what is the communication port # in order to establish the connection from the GPS signal to the navigation software. I can hardly find this info .

Can Microsoft specify ?

Any help is welcomed,

Ben,

    Hello,

I would like to refresh this question as this is exactly the same issue I'm facing.

    Microsoft Surface PRO 9 SQ3

Objective: usage of GSP in OpenCPN (Navigation software).

The software is able to receive NMEA packets from different inputs such as COM ports.

Is-it possible to catch the GPS ouput of the computer?

Thanks in advance for your help.
