Unable to Switch From Classic to New Teams

Hello All,

I am unable to switch from Classic teams to New teams.

To fix MS Teams issue:

Delete all MS Teams Cheches and clear all team's log data.

Delete the below-mentioned folders/files:

  • C:\Windows\ccmcache
  • C:\Windows\logs
  • C:\Windows\temp
  • Try to switch to new teams by clicking on the New Teams shooter icon on the left pane of the desktop application
  • Uninstall the existing Teams and then download the latest version of MS Teams from the web and install the application on the user's PC but when try to switch to the new Teams it does not allow us to do so and gets attached error. but after trying all the steps
  • unable to fix the issue.

Do we have any troubleshooting for this because this is impacting my daily work Teams

    Hi @Pawan Pandey

    Make sure your administrator has enabled New Teams for users in your organization.

    To get started using the new Teams, flip the toggle next to Try the new Teams in the upper-left corner of the classic Teams app.  

    Open the Teams desktop app on your Windows device.

    Turn on the Try the new Teams toggle at the top of Teams.  new Teams toggle view

    Select Get it now from the pop-out dialogue. The new Teams will start installing. Preview the new Teams modal

    Your Teams app will reboot to open the new Teams. Any subsequent actions you take will happen in the new Teams by default, like joining a Teams meeting from Outlook.

    If the above methods do not work, in order to better help you, please provide a clearer error screenshot.
