Excel 365 - Heavy File Opening Issue

Hi,
I am facing issue with opening 20MB excel file, the file has vlookup formula from other file.
The issue I am facing since today morning, the excel file taking too much time around half an hour to open that file.
Don't know what update Microsoft team has done.

Kindly provide solution.

    Is the workbook slow to open on all machines?

    • Let formulas be calculated manually. (File > Options > Formulas, under Calculation Options, Workbook Calculation, select "Manual".)

    Please run Excel in safe mode to have a check.

    According to the article "Excel performance: Tips for optimizing performance obstructions", you can try INDEX and MATCH or OFFSET instead of VLOOKUP, and other tips.

    Besides, go to Data tab, under Queries & Connection group, click Edit Links. Check whether there is any other file that your file links to.

    • If yes, you may click File > Options > Trust Center > Trusted Center Settings > External Content > Under Security settings for Workbook Links, select “Disable automatic update for Workbook Links” > OK.
