How to include numbers with hyphens in Subtotal function

I am currently using a =SUBTOTAL formula to count a column of date but am having some issues. For example, I have 30 cells in this column that all include various numbers, but they also include numbers with hyphens— ex. 20-22, 106-107 etc.

when i run the =SUBTOTAL(2, E3:E32) it does not include the cells that contain numbers with hyphens, so my total number is off. I have tried changing the format of the numbers to General and am still having the same issue.

    You can try to use COUNTA function to help you count cells not empty:
