How to Protect a TABLE

I have a user that wants a spreadsheet designed with some specific requirements. There is a Named TABLE on a sheet. (There is other data in this sheet not in the table.) The user needs to allow the user to ENTER data into the table (add Rows) but needs to make sure that no one can DELETE the table itself.

I assume that a table is an "object" and you could apply Protection settings to a table object just like you could a sheet object. Not sure this is the case?

In any event, is there a method to meet the user's requirements?

When you apply protection, there are separate options that control inserting rows and deleting rows. If this is not sufficient, you will need to provide more detail.
