Container Instances stuck at Waiting state

Hi:

We are migrating our Container instances to a new subscription. We created 4 new container instances in the new subscription. However, they are all stucked in Waiting State.

I tried to stop and restart the container instance. It’s not working. The container instance will become Running state for a short while then waiting again. Seems it’s always restarting. Meanwhile, the old container instances in the old subscription are running well. Is there any solution to fix this problem?

Container instances: msaidatastudio, msaidatastudio-ppe, msaidatastudio2, msaidatastudio3

    Hi Xiaobin Zhu,

Welcome to the Microsoft Q&A Platform! Thank you for asking your question here.

From the information you provided we understand that you are facing an issue while moving container instances from one subscription to a new subscription.

The resource and its dependent resources must be located in the same resource group, and they must be moved together.

Please follow these: Scenario for move across subscriptions

    1. If dependent resources are distributed across different resource groups, first move them into one resource group.
    2. Move the resource and dependent resources together from the source subscription to the target subscription.
    3. Optionally, redistribute the dependent resources to different resource groups within the target subscription.
