Hi Seymour,
Hope you're doing well.
- Sometimes restore points become faulty or corrupted. Try selecting a different restore point:
(1) Type "Create a restore point" in the Start Menu search bar and select the Best match.
(2) Navigate to the System Protection tab and click the "System Restore" button.
(3) Choose a more recent restore point from the list and follow the on-screen instructions to proceed.
- Ensure that System Protection settings are enabled:
(1) Type "Create a restore point" in the Start Menu search bar and select the Best match.
(2) Go to the System Protection tab and click the "Configure" button.
(3) Select the "Turn on system protection" option, click Apply, and then OK.
(4) Restart your PC to apply these settings.
- Boot your PC into Safe Mode and then run System Restore. Select the most recent restore point and follow the instructions.
