Azure function -storage

Question

Hi,

As part of learning, I am trying to create Azure function, while doing it I don't see "Storage" tab and I continue to create AZ function. But from my learnings I remember that storage account required for AZ functions.

So,

1. Do I need to configure separately storage account?
2. Something issue with my portal / instance issues?

A storage warning shows up in azure function screen. Attached screen shots.

Please guide me, thanks

Thanks for your question.

Yes in creating a function app for consumption plan you should have an option to create storage account like in the screenshot below.

Please can you attempt the process over again? search for function apps in the search bar and try and create again.

You can also link the Storage account to the already created function app in the configuration tab.
