I am supplying and installing some servers for a customer that will be hosted on their site and running Win2022. I need to buy some server licenses and are being advised by the resellers I have contacted that this is no longer permitted and it can only be done if I buy the server with Win2022 already installed. I already have the servers and everything installed ready to go, it is not really an option to go back to the supplier and ask them to reinstall the OS from scratch. Are there win 2022 licenses that can be purchased and how to I get them? Any help greatly appreciated.

I see Windows server 2022 software available from a number of different Websites including Newegg:
See this link on Microsoft Server Licensing, there are other options besides OEM with hardware available.

Microsoft does still offer standalone licenses for Windows Server 2022 either as OEM or Retail.
For larger organization look for Volume licensing.
Some partners provide licenses through Microsoft's CSP program.
You may obtain these licenses through:
Microsoft's online store.
Authorized Microsoft Partners: Many resellers and partners can sell you legitimate Windows Server licenses.
You may also find third-party resellers. However, ensure they are reputable to avoid any potential issues with counterfeit or invalid licenses.
