Do I need a CAL for every user who authenticates through AD?

hi,

I have 100 users who do not access windows servers but their account is in AD. They are all on mac. When they access different non-Microsoft platforms, they authenticate through AD, meaning that they authenticate with the external platform that in turn checks their username/password with our AD. Do I need to buy a CAL for every user?
