Information Rights Management (IRM) features include in which license ?

Hello everyone,

I'm seeking information on which Microsoft license includes Information Rights Management (IRM) features.

I'm curious if it is available in Entra ID Plan 2 (not Plan 1), EMS licenses, and Microsoft 365 E5 Compliance.

Our customer needs to purchase a separate license.

    It would depend on which features exactly they want to use, i.e. whether they need AIP Plan 1 or 2, or maybe just Message Encryption. EMS and the O365/M365 bundle plans in general would work, standalone Entra ID will not.
