We have SCOM 2019 installed and the MOM agents are of version 10.19.10014.0, even after installing the latest Build version KB5035285 in the control panel > installed applications the version of Microsoft Monitoring Agent is still 10.19.10014.0. In the SCOM Operations console the version is showing up to date but not in control panel of the machine. I tried to install using MOMAgent.msc but I'm not able to upgrade it with this .msc. Can anyone help how to upgrade Microsoft monitoring agent to latest version which should reflect in installed programs of a machine

Hi, Based on your description, you want to upgrade the SCOM 2019 to UR6. You can follow the supported installation order: Install the update rollup package on the following server infrastructure. Note : Management server or servers can be updated by using either the msp or simplified management server patching user interface. Audit Collection Services Web console server role computers Gateway Operations console role computers Reporting Apply agent updates. Install Windows Agent Manually Using MOMAgent.msi

Based on your description, you want to upgrade the SCOM 2019 to UR6.

Install the update rollup package on the following server infrastructure. Note: Management server or servers can be updated by using either the msp or simplified management server patching user interface.

If we are trying to install SCOM agent using MOMAgent.msc then it is getting installed with older version 10.19.10014.0. If I want this MOMAgent.msc to be latest version, then do I need to install "Update Rollup 6" in Management servers or can I download this MOMAgent.msc from any place?

We have installed "Update Rollup 5" KB on SCOM Agent server (client not management) but it is still reporting older version 10.19.10014.0. in control panel>programs?

Yes, you could download the Agent.msp from Microsoft Update Catalog.

If you have installed “Update Rollup 5” on the SCOM, the agent not management and still show the older version, you might want to consider reinstalling the agent.
