We frequently use the "Azure WCF Relay" service and "WindowsAzure.ServiceBus" nuget package in our .NET Framework projects. It seems that we may not be able to easily port our projects to .NET (v6/v8) in the near future.

We received a notification that "WindowsAzure.ServiceBus" will be retired/obsolete by 30 September 2026, and we have no clear path for our old projects. Azure Notification says, "Azure WCF Relay still uses this library, and support of this library in combination with this service will continue until further notice."

Could you guide us and provide a clear response and any references that can help us take necessary actions from today?

Thanks.

@Timuçin DURSUN Thanks for reaching out. "WindowsAzure.ServiceBus is NOT deprecated for usage with Relay. It is only deprecated for use with Service Bus and Event Hubs. This is the only library for WCF relay. I had a discussion internally and confirmed that we will continue to support WindowsAzure.ServiceBus in combination with Azure WCF Relay until further notice. https://www.nuget.org/packages/WindowsAzure.ServiceBus/

do let me know incase of further queries, I would be happy to assist you.
