I am working in retail company . where We want to automate our task , currently We are working on power bi free service. Now we want to purchase power bi pro license. So do we need Microsoft 365 or Azure account to buy power bi pro license or we can directly buy license. And if I can do that so can i buy license using my personal mail or do I need work mail for purchase and sign in into power bi desktop and service?

Thanks. Now got some clarification. So In my case , In my organization me and my manager needs all access on same report and other only need view access. So me and managers need to buy Power BI Pro License Independently? Or we can buy single pro account for share same access? Additionally other who need view access only, does they require any license?

Thanks for making me clear on this point.

So currently my organization does not have Microsoft 365 or Azure AD account. Now they want that whatever I develop in Power BI, my manager can access all of that and other people from organization can View reports.
As per your answer we need Microsoft 365 or Azure AD account for Sharing and collaboration?

Also I need to manage all power bi access then I will be power BI administrator.
For all this we need to buy Microsoft 365 where I will be administrator ? Correct..?

Our organization does not currently have Microsoft 365 or Azure AD accounts. We need to ensure that whatever I develop in Power BI can be accessed by my manager and other team members within the organization.

Based on your previous answer, do we need Microsoft 365 or Azure AD accounts for sharing and collaboration in Power BI?

Additionally, does this mean I will be responsible for managing access as the Power BI Administrator? If so, do we need an organizational Microsoft 365 account where I will hold global administrator rights?
