Windows 10 | Opening HEIC files

Hello,

I have an end user that needs to be able to open HEIC files created on an iPhone.

Although user's Windows Operating System is current, the Photo app is not allowing it to open the file. I have checked for Microsoft Store for installation of file extensions that will allow this, but those I found do not appear to work. Any known/recommended ones?

    If the app from Microsoft Store doesn't work then you may try the following third-party applications:

    CopyTrans HEIC for Windows

    Bitwar HEIC Converter

    IRFANVIEW GRAPHIC VIEWER

    Hello,

    You can install the HEIF Image Extensions on your terminal PC to support viewing of HEIC files in the photo viewer.

    Some users mentioned the need to install the HEVC Video Extensions at the same time.
