However, if you want to view and interact with real-time Power BI data embedded in a PowerPoint presentation, you need the Power BI add-in for PowerPoint. If you only need to view still images or non-interactive data, you can open a PowerPoint file without any other tools. But to achieve full interactivity, Power BI add-in is required.
