    Hi,

    No, a PowerPoint file containing Power BI data can be opened without Power BI. However, if you want to view and interact with real-time Power BI data embedded in a PowerPoint presentation, you need the Power BI add-in for PowerPoint. With this add-in, you can interact with the data as if it were in Power BI, including applying filters and slicers. If you only need to view still images or non-interactive data, you can open a PowerPoint file without any other tools. But to achieve full interactivity, Power BI add-in is required.
