How can we have Azure DevOps pool agents automatically removed from Microsoft Defender portal?

We are using self-hosted agent pools for our Azure DevOps pipelines.

Once the pools scale down, the agents are still showing in our Microsoft Defender devices and it is inflating our total count of vulnerabilities.

How can we have these agents automatically remove themselves from Defender once they are scaled down?
