Can't get Hub navigation to work

Question

Hello,

I have 3 sites,

Level1

Level2

Level3

Level1 & Level2 sites are both registered hub sites

In the level1 hub site, when I edit the navigation I select Associated Hubs I can see Level2, (which seems counter intuitive as Level2 is a Child hub, but when I select associated child hubs, the only option is itself).

How can I properly edit the navigation to have in Level1 display the Level2 and in Level2 it will display Level1 & Level3 in the hub NAV.

I appreciate any help I can get.

Per my test, I could reproduce your issue. After doing some research, it should be an expected ebhavior. Since you can only choose one hub site with which to associate your site. Level 3 won't be the child site of level1. You could only see one site in level2. If you want to custom your navigation bar, you could refer to following steps
