Trying to repair an .STL file in 3D Builder. Results:"One or more objects are invalidly defined, click here to repair." Result:"Service not available please check your internet connection." Internet is fine.

Question

I am trying to repair an .STL file in 3D Builder. After loading the file is says, "One or more objects are invalidly defined. Click here to repair." When I click I get the following message, "Service not available please check your internet connection." There is nothing wrong with my internet connection. What would cause this?
